Wizordle

In Wizordle your goal is to come up with as many words as you can think of before running out of time!

When you start the game, a random "primary" word will be chosen. You must type a "sub" word that starts with each letter in the primary word. Once you have completed sub words for all letters in the primary word, a new primary word will be chosen from your sub words.

Words must be in the Wizordle dictionary and cannot be reused. They must be at least 2 and no more than 20 letters long. Only letters can be used - hyphenated and compound words are not playable at this time.

For every sub word completed, you will gain time back on the countdown clock and experience points that will allow you to unlock power-ups. Some power ups can be activated by pressing a number key - make sure to read the descriptions carefully!

Please note - we are using a free dictionary that is missing some common words. If you have words that you think should be included in the dictionary, please submit feedback on https://monstershadowinteractive.com or the Itch.io forums. We're also happy to hear any general feedback or bug reports that you may have!

Power Ups

Power Ups come in three types - Instants, Passives, and Abilities.

Instants apply as soon as you unlock them.

Passives trigger on some event, like playing a word of a certain length or playing a word that you've already used.

Abilities are activated by pressing a specific key on the keyboard.

Both passives and abilities may have attributes like Cooldown and Number of Uses.
